Monstera deliciosa Rehabilitation
September 2023
July 2023
mid-August 2023
This is a Monstera deliciosa, and it's one of the most common and well-loved houseplants - for good reason. When this guy matures, it develops fenestrations (aka holes) in the leaves. Very fitting for its common name: The Swiss Cheese Plant.
In order to rehab this guy, I completely replaced the soil, gave its roots some much needed TLC, and added a moss pole. The pole allows the Monstera to climb as it would in its natural habitat.

You may notice it's much less full, but the wilted, etiolated leaves had to go. This guy has already bounced back, and he's thriving under Black Cat Bouquet's care.
